Finding your Edge

Bob Parson, CEO of Go Daddy, has a video blog dealing with this
subject.   His video has inspired me to write this message to you.  
I dare to say not everyone is looking to build million dollar companies.  The American way does not have to be wrought with the stresses of acquiring and maintaining a “keep up with the Jones’” lifestyle.  Still, success at any measure has common qualities.  Having an edge is one of them. Whether your target customer is the average Joe or a niche market that specializes in the obscure, having an edge propels the sell. The key is catering to the needs of your target market in tangible, measurable ways that your customers recognize and appreciate.
 
Discover your edge, talk to your customers and competitors, find out what they need and want.  Promote your edge, put it out there!  While you work it have tangible measurements in place- you need to know what works.   Above all define and enjoy success on your own terms.
