Who
Needs a Website?
You
do! Why? Because
it’s vital that you control your internet identity. Whether
you’re a small business or looking for employment, your
internet
presence is as important as your physical persona and sometimes even
more so. Your internet presence can get your foot through doors you
don't even know exist.
For businesses big and small a website has, in many ways, replaced the
business card. It is often the basis for a
potential
customer's or employer's first impression. A website travels
well, giving you world wide exposure without the costs of other types
of advertising. Listen, don’t take my word for it.
Excerpted from Entrepreneur magazine:
“…So should your business have a website, even if
your
business is small and sells products or services you don't think can be
sold online? My answer in 1998 is the same as my answer today: Yes, if
you have a business, you should have a website. Period. No question.
Without a doubt…”
A few questions to ask yourself now that you are tempted once again to
put off taking that step.
1. Does your competition have a website?
2. Do you want your customers to have 24 hour access to your
business without the cost of
24 hour
staffing?
3. Do you want a cost effective way to advertise while realizing
maximum exposure?
4. Do you want credibility?
Before I go on I’ll ask you the one question that makes my
point
crystal clear. What is your impression of a business that does not have
a website?
I’ve witnessed firsthand how business representatives shrink
at
having to admit they do not have a website. Like it or not,
an
established business without a website lacks credibility.
Last question, DO YOU WANT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY?
